Spending an afternoon with my girlfriend, we were randomly browsing Netflix and decided to watch an anime called Highschool Of The Dead. I was curious to see how well this anime did and apparently it was listed among the worst manga of 2011 at Comic-Con. After looking through some tumblr tags, I’ve read “reviews” that simply describe the first episode and continue to bash on this anime solely on the show’s fan service.

Lucky for them, it’s not the stupidest review I’ve ever read but it’s up there.

For those of you who know nothing about story crafting, suspense is key to keeping your audience hooked. Yes, its a typical zombie apocalypse scenario but a damn fun one. Fun, quality animation, non-cheesy voice acting, comedic elements, and hot girls (and hot guys-confirmed by my girlfriend), all make for fantastic presentation that makes this anime very watchable. For those of you who are bashing on this anime for exploiting all the possible upskirt shots and abnormally sized breasts on the female characters, get the stick out of your ass and admit that you secretly enjoy it. God damn.
