Actually, No.

Final Fantasy XIII Versus was first seen at E3 in 2006 (the same year the PS3 was released). Given that it was a teaser trailer, how much of a troll is it to see plenty of Square Enix PS3 titles release since then?

Way to tease us for 6 years in counting. In fact, I bought a PS3 for this game alone. What was more unnerving was that when FFXIII came out, it was released on both the PS3 and Xbox 360.

What ever happened to exclusivity? I still really never heard a reason for this decision and the execution of the game itself was…acceptable.

I know that no gaming company has the capacity to meet the expectations of millions of fans in one game but I really did feel that this last one was executed in a way that just didn’t appeal to me. I mean…it is an rpg right? So what happened to all the optional caves, dungeons, temples and whatnot? The layout of the entire game was linear that you only had to go a little out of your way for treasure orbs.

The story was in fact amazing if it wasn’t for how complex it was. I felt like I needed a book in order to understand the entire story to fully appreciate all of the details. I wasn’t attached to any of the characters at all like I was in 7…8…9…10…12…

And I hated Hope Estheim. Frekin crybaby.

All in all, of course I’ll buy the game when it comes out-if it comes out.
But will I be excited for it?

After all that?

……

Nah.
